What is an example of convection,conduction, and radiation?

• An example of convection is if you put something in boiling water like rice and when its hot it goes on top of the water and when its cooled it goes down in the water.




• An example of conduction is when you put a fire to a piece of metal and it gets hot.




• An example of radiation is when you get heat from the heat waves of the sun.

Today me and my partner in science class started our lab. They lab was to create a parachute that could take more than 10 seconds to land on the ground and that could hold a egg with out it falling or breaking. To have both requirements I thought that we could make a basket for the egg and have a strong parachute so that it can take a while landing. Learning about force and motion can help us because we can know how much force we should have and how fast or slow we need it. Also our parachute needs to be safe so that's why we thought about the basket so hopefully our parachute will work with our ideas.

The 5 months of blogging has really helped me like technology more and learn how to write better. When Ms. Douglas says to write our blog I feel that is an opportunity to learn how to write something better than I would usual write it. Also blogging has help me bring up my science grade. Now I have to work on writing more details in my writing but if I continue I know My blogs will be perfect. I do plan on using blogs in the future. I believe that they can help me with my writing and to write what I fell or about something that has happened in the world that I think people should know. I now in future schools I will have to use technology so doing blogs it wont be difficult for me to use computers for any kind of work I might have to do. I really do love using technology and I will always use it.
